How much does SEO & AI search optimisation (AEO/GEO) cost in Dubai? A verified 2026 pricing guide
Dubai providers’ published figures for SEO retainers span AED 1,500 to AED 50,000+ per month — the spread of their claims, not a measured market range — with most SME-focused ranges clustering between roughly AED 3,000 and AED 12,000. Dubai AEO services are quoted from AED 2,500 to AED 25,000+ per month. This guide verifies every published figure at its origin, dates each check, classifies the evidence behind it, and includes my own rates in the same table under the same rules.

Those numbers come from fifteen different providers — and almost none of them cite a source. One thing this guide will not do is give you “the market average.” There isn’t one — there are published claims of very different reliability, and treating them as one number is how buyers get misled. What you’ll get instead is the full set of claims, graded, so you can see exactly what the Dubai market actually says about itself.
How much does SEO cost in Dubai in 2026?
Across the fifteen Dubai pricing sources verified for this guide, published SEO retainer ranges fall into three recurring bands: entry/local work quoted around AED 1,500–3,500 per month, standard SME retainers around AED 4,000–12,000, and enterprise or multi-market campaigns from roughly AED 12,000 to AED 50,000+. These are published claims, not measured market data — the full sourced table is below.
| Band (as published) | Typical quoted range | Who quotes it |
|---|---|---|
| Entry / local | AED 1,500–3,500/mo | 2Marketing, DataMySite, HeySearch, WB-Digitech |
| Standard SME | AED 4,000–12,000/mo | 2Marketing, Skimbox (3,000–8,000 “sweet spot”), HeySearch |
| Enterprise / multi-market | AED 12,000–50,000+/mo | Skimbox, eShield IT, OrangeMonkE, HeySearch |
For calibration outside Dubai: Ahrefs polled 439 SEO providers and found SEO costs $2,917 per month on average globally, 78.2% of providers charge a monthly retainer, and consultants average $3,250 per month (Ahrefs, “SEO Pricing: How Much Does SEO Cost? 439 People Polled”). That’s the only large named survey in this space, and it’s worth noting how many Dubai guides quote it second-hand without saying so.
The verified pricing table: published Dubai SEO & AEO prices, source-checked
This is the core of the guide. Every row was checked at its source URL on the date shown. Each carries an evidence classification:
- PUBLISHED RATE — a provider’s own stated price for its own service. The strongest class: the provider is accountable for it.
- PLANNING RANGE — a provider’s estimate of what the market charges, usually hedged. Useful directionally; nobody is accountable for it.
- VENDOR CLAIM — a marketing assertion without meaningful support. Listed for completeness, not for budgeting.

How to read this table in 30 seconds
Only six rows are prices anyone will actually charge you — the PUBLISHED RATE rows. Everything else is a provider describing the market, which is useful context and nothing more. Notice that the planning ranges disagree with each other by up to 30x at the extremes. That disagreement is not noise; it’s the honest shape of an unstandardised market, and the next section explains where the spread comes from.
Why do Dubai SEO prices vary this much?
The 30x spread between the cheapest and most expensive published figures isn’t random. Four groups of drivers explain nearly all of it. What follows is analysis — reasoned from the verified sources and my own client work, not a measured study.
Scope and deliverables
The single biggest driver. A retainer covering technical fixes and on-page work is a fundamentally different product from one that includes ongoing content production and link acquisition. Skimbox — one of the few sources that itemises components — puts content at AED 300–1,500 per article and link building at AED 2,000–8,000 per month on its own. Add those to a base retainer and you’ve explained most of the jump from the entry band to the SME band without anyone changing their margins.
Market factors
Dubai is a bilingual, high-competition market. Several sources note that adding Arabic roughly doubles content production cost (WAIM hub states this directly for AEO work). Niche matters too: real estate, healthcare, and finance keywords are repeatedly named as the expensive end because every competitor with money fights for them. And multi-market campaigns — UAE plus KSA plus English-speaking expats — multiply content and link requirements again.
Provider structure
Who does the work changes the price of the same work. Ahrefs’ 439-provider survey found agencies charge 138% more than freelancers on average, and consultants average $3,250 per month globally. An agency retainer carries account management, reporting overheads, and office economics that a solo consultant doesn’t bill you for; whether that overhead buys you anything is a scope question, not a loyalty question — more on this below.
Tracking and measurement
The quietest driver, and the one I’d argue matters most. A retainer that includes proper conversion tracking — server-side CAPI, GA4 configuration, verified attribution — costs more to deliver than one that reports rankings and calls it measurement. Very few of the fifteen published sources mention measurement infrastructure in their pricing at all. When two quotes differ by AED 2,000 per month, the first question worth asking is which one includes tracking you can audit.

What does an SEO package in Dubai actually include?
The published tiers translate into deliverables roughly like this — assembled from what the verified sources describe at each band:
| Band | What the published sources describe |
|---|---|
| Entry (1,500–3,500) | Local/map-pack focus, basic on-page fixes, limited or no content, minimal links, template reporting |
| SME (4,000–12,000) | Technical + on-page + ongoing content, genuine link acquisition, strategy input, sometimes bilingual work begins here |
| Enterprise (12,000+) | Multi-language, PR-grade links, embedded strategy, multiple markets, heavier content volume |
Two things to check on any package. First, one-time versus recurring: audits, tracking setup, and entity/schema work are one-time projects (my own one-time prices for exactly these are in the table above), and a retainer that re-bills setup work monthly deserves a question. Second, arithmetic: the components Skimbox itemises — even at the low end of content and links — cannot fit inside an AED 1,500 “full SEO” retainer with anything left for labour. That’s not an accusation of any provider; it’s a constraint you can check with a calculator. If the price can’t contain the deliverables, one of them isn’t real.
How much does AEO and GEO cost in Dubai?
Published Dubai AEO figures run from AED 2,500 per month (Xerxes Duane, independent) through AED 6,000 (Hikmah AI’s own rate) and AED 8,000 (NERDSEY’s tier) up to planning ranges of AED 18,000–25,000+ for enterprise scope (Hikmah AI, WAIM hub). One-time AEO audits are quoted at AED 4,000–10,000 (WAIM hub). This pricing is genuinely unstandardised — WAIM hub says so on its own page — so treat every figure here as a starting point for a scoped quote.
What conventional SEO covers
Crawlability, indexation, site architecture, on-page optimisation, content, links — the work that earns ranked positions in classic results. This technical SEO layer isn’t optional under AEO; AI systems overwhelmingly retrieve from content that’s already indexable and well-structured.
What AEO adds
Answer Engine Optimization is the work of making your content the answer AI systems quote: restructuring pages so questions are answered directly and extractably, deeper schema, entity consistency, and monitoring how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google’s AI features actually cite your market. The incremental cost is real labour — content engineering and monitoring — not a mystery premium.
What GEO / AI search optimisation adds
Generative Engine Optimization extends the same goal across the citation graph: how your brand is described and sourced across the wider web that AI systems draw from — third-party mentions, consistent entity data, machine-readable identity. It’s the slowest layer and the one most dependent on work outside your own site. In my own framework it sits within the wider Visibility Stack.
Where they overlap — and what that means for price
Most of the technical substrate is shared. Structured content, clean schema, crawlable pages, and consistent entity data serve classic search and AI answers simultaneously. Which means the honest way to buy AEO is as an increment on an SEO foundation — and any quote pricing “AEO” as an entirely separate parallel universe is charging you twice for the shared layer. One more caution that several providers state and I’ll repeat: nobody can guarantee AI citations. AI systems are probabilistic. Good work raises the frequency of being cited; it cannot dictate a model’s output. Treat any guarantee as a red flag, exactly as you would a guaranteed #1 Google ranking.
Consultant vs agency: what are you actually paying for?
The structural difference is overhead and capacity, not competence. An agency bills for a team: account management, layered review, more hands, more process. A consultant bills for direct senior time with none of the layers. Ahrefs’ survey quantifies the global gap — agencies charge 138% more than freelancers, with consultants sitting near agency-level rates ($3,250/month average) because you’re buying senior judgment directly.
Neither model is better in the abstract. An agency makes sense when you need volume — dozens of pages a month, big multilingual campaigns, several channels executed simultaneously. A consultant makes sense when the constraint is judgment rather than hands: diagnosis, strategy, technical depth, and accountability concentrated in one person you actually talk to. The failure mode with cheap agencies is templated work; the failure mode with consultants is capacity — which is why capping client count is the honest way to run one.
Compare offers on scope, not headline price. A 5,500-dirham quote including server-side tracking, both ad platforms, and AI-search work is not more expensive than a 4,000-dirham quote covering on-page SEO and a PDF report. It’s a different product. For a worked example of what scope differences do to outcomes, see this real-estate cost-per-lead case study.
Our pricing (Kuraib Ali) — verified 9 August 2026
I publish my rates, so they belong in this audit under the same rules as everyone else’s. From the live pricing page, checked today — selected scope per tier; the full feature lists are on the page:
- Starter — AED 3,500/month (min. ad spend AED 3,000/mo): SEO consulting (technical + on-page) or Meta Ads on one platform, basic CAPI setup, monthly performance report, email support.
- Growth — AED 5,500/month (min. ad spend AED 5,500/mo): SEO plus GEO/AEO (AI Overviews, ChatGPT), Meta Ads and Google Ads, full server-side CAPI, entity authority setup, AI citation tracking, bi-weekly strategy calls.
- Enterprise — AED 9,000/month (min. ad spend AED 11,000/mo): the full Visibility Stack — AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini), both ad platforms plus SEO/GEO, advanced CAPI + GA4 server-side, multi-domain entity management, quarterly in-person sessions.
Those numbers are one click away from this page, so this table stays honest by construction: if my pricing changes, the discrepancy would be visible immediately — which is precisely the standard this guide holds every other source to.
What to ask before signing an SEO or AEO contract in Dubai
Eleven questions. A provider comfortable with all eleven is a provider you can hold accountable.
- What exactly is included each month — itemised, not “full SEO”?
- What is explicitly excluded? Content? Links? Arabic? Tracking?
- Which deliverables are guaranteed, and which are targets? (Rankings and AI citations can never be guaranteed. Deliverables can.)
- How will results be measured — and in whose analytics account?
- Do I keep admin access to my own site, analytics, and ad accounts throughout?
- Is conversion tracking installed and verified as part of the engagement — and can I audit it?
- What does the reporting show — work done and business outcomes, or ranking screenshots?
- What is the minimum term, and why? (Minimum terms are common and defensible for slow-compounding work; an inability to explain the why is the red flag, not the term itself.)
- Who owns the content and assets created during the engagement if we part ways?
- For AEO specifically: how do you verify AI-visibility claims? Which engines, which prompts, measured how?
- For any performance claim in your case studies: what’s the evidence source? Platform data, analytics exports, or a designer’s mockup?
How we verified this data
Source discovery. Sources were identified through search-engine and AI-retrieval sampling of Dubai SEO/AEO pricing queries conducted on 8–9 August 2026. This is a sampling method, not a census: this table contains the published Dubai pricing sources our sampling surfaced, and there will be providers it missed. We claim completeness for nothing.
Verification. Every figure was captured from its live source page on the date shown in the table. Sources whose pages published no price were excluded rather than estimated. One source (Right Media’s tiers) reaches this table through a citing page and is marked as secondary attribution accordingly. The full source list: hikmahaiagency.com (three guides), nerdsey.com, xerxesduane.com, shieldagency.com.ng, waimhub.com, skimbox.ae, 2marketing.com, heysearch.com, eshielditservices.com, orangemonke.com, wbdigitech.ae, thebrandstrong.com, localseoservicesdubai.ae, datamysite.com, softaxis.ae, plus ahrefs.com/blog/seo-pricing and kuraib.site/pricing.
Classification. PUBLISHED RATE: the provider’s own price for its own service. PLANNING RANGE: the provider’s characterisation of market pricing, hedged or not. VENDOR CLAIM: a figure whose supporting material cites no data. Where a page hedges its own numbers — Hikmah AI’s “planning ranges, not quotes” — we preserve the hedge rather than hardening the number.
Our own row. Kuraib Ali’s pricing was verified against the live pricing page on 9 August 2026 and is held to the same classification rules. It is the one row every reader can independently re-verify in ten seconds, which is the point.
What this dataset is not. It is not a market average (computing one from claims of unequal reliability would manufacture false precision), not a quote (every provider prices to scope), and not permanent (pricing pages change — hence the dates, and the change log below). This guide follows the site-wide Data Verification Standard: every metric traced to a named source, no modelled figures presented as fact, and anything unverifiable removed rather than softened.
Frequently asked questions
How much does SEO cost in Dubai per month?
Published Dubai sources verified in August 2026 quote SEO retainers from AED 1,500 to AED 50,000+ per month. Entry/local work is typically quoted at AED 1,500–3,500, standard SME retainers at AED 4,000–12,000, and enterprise campaigns from AED 12,000 upward. These are published claims, not guaranteed quotes — pricing always depends on scope.
How much does AEO cost in Dubai?
Published Dubai AEO rates run from AED 2,500 to AED 8,000 per month at the provider-stated level, with market planning ranges quoted up to AED 25,000+ for enterprise scope. One-time AEO audits are quoted at AED 4,000–10,000. AEO pricing is an emerging category without a standardised market rate, so scoped quotes vary widely.
Is SEO cheaper from a consultant than an agency in Dubai?
Not automatically. Ahrefs’ survey of 439 providers found consultants average $3,250 per month globally — near agency rates — because you’re buying senior time directly rather than a cheaper product. The real difference is structure: agencies bill for team capacity and account layers; consultants bill for concentrated judgment with capped capacity.
What should a small business in Dubai budget for SEO?
Published entry-band figures cluster at AED 1,500–3,500 per month for local-scope work, but the arithmetic matters more than the band: itemised component costs published by Dubai sources (content at AED 300–1,500 per article; links at AED 2,000–8,000 monthly) mean very cheap “full SEO” retainers cannot physically include much of either. Budget to the deliverables you need.
Are minimum contract terms normal for SEO and AEO in Dubai?
Yes — several verified Dubai providers publish minimum terms, such as six-month AEO engagements, and the practice is defensible because search and AI-visibility work compounds slowly. The legitimate question isn’t whether a minimum exists but whether the provider can explain what happens in those months and what you can verify along the way.
How can I verify an agency’s pricing and performance claims?
Ask for the evidence source behind every number: platform screenshots or exports for performance claims, and a live public pricing page for rate claims. Any figure that can’t be traced to platform data, an analytics export, or a published page is a marketing statement, not a fact — treat it accordingly when comparing offers.
