How much does a website cost in Dubai? The honest answer.
Anyone who gives you a number before asking five questions is guessing. This guide sets out what actually moves the price of a website in Dubai, so you can size your project — and read a quote — before you speak to anyone, including me.

Why quotes in Dubai vary so much
Dubai has hundreds of web design companies, from freelancers to global agencies, and the same brief can receive quotes that differ by a factor of twenty. The spread is not mostly about quality. It is about what each supplier has silently assumed the project includes — pages, languages, content, commerce, integrations and who does the thinking.
The cheap quote usually excludes the thinking. A template with your logo, your text pasted in and a contact form is a legitimate product at a low price. A site that has been positioned, written, designed, engineered and search-architected is a different product. Both are called "a website" and quoted as one.
The expensive quote sometimes hides the same thing. Large agencies in Dubai carry overhead, and a high number can still mean a junior team working from a template. The questions below expose either case.

| Driver | Low end | High end | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pages and structure | One page, five sections | Fifty pages, a content model, city and service pages | How many templates, and who designs the architecture? |
| Languages | English only | English and Arabic as two full sites, native copy, RTL designed | Is Arabic translated or written? Who sets the Arabic type? |
| Content | Client supplies text and photos | Positioning, copywriting, photography and data in both languages | Who writes it, and what happens if we do not have text? |
| Commerce and integrations | A contact form | Store, payments, delivery, CRM, booking, ERP | Which integrations are in scope, and who maintains them? |
| Search and performance | None stated | Query map, schema, Core Web Vitals measured, pre-rendered, hreflang | What will the site score on Google’s metrics, and who checks? |
How to read a Dubai web design quote
Size it yourself first
Count the pages, decide the languages, list the integrations and be honest about who is writing the content. That is eighty per cent of the price.
Ask about the thinking
Who decides what the site argues, and what is that person’s experience? A quote without a strategy line is a template with a mark-up.
Ask what you will own
Domain, hosting, code and content should be in your name from day one. If they are not, the low price is a lease.
Ask how it will be measured
Speed, search visibility and enquiries should have numbers attached before launch. If nobody names a metric, nobody will be accountable for it.
Positioning sprint
4 – 6 weeks
Find out what the site should be arguing before spending a build budget on it.
If the budget question is really a scope question, a positioning sprint answers it: four to six weeks that end with a costed build recommendation you can take to anyone, including me.
Questions
- So what does a website cost in Dubai?
- For a serious business site — positioned, written, bilingual, engineered and search-ready — expect a project measured in months and a fee that reflects a senior team’s time. I quote fixed fees after a scoping call, and I will tell you if a cheaper route fits you better.
- Is a cheap template site a bad idea?
- Not always. For a new business that needs a presence this month, a template is rational. The mistake is expecting it to generate enquiries; that requires the thinking a template does not include.
- Are Dubai agencies more expensive than freelancers?
- Usually, and sometimes for good reason: a team, project management and accountability. The question is whether the senior people who sold the project will do the work. Ask.
- What about ongoing costs?
- Hosting, domain, platform fees, maintenance and the content or search work that makes the site compound. A site with no ongoing plan depreciates from launch day.
